Blood, sweat and tears of compassion: Find out what 200 employees of a medical technology company got up to in the notorious townships.

icon_bnThe conference at the convention centre is over and 200 executives from all over Europe are heading for the townships, to THEIR very own project. They registered online for one of 15 Corporate Volunteering Activities – from a marketing workshop with local charities to building a day nursery, an improvised soup kitchen, visits to HIV hospices, a photography campaign for refugee camp kids and lots more…. So now it’s time to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in – live. Such an awesome experience – this event was an eye and heart-opener. It set standards in terms of discovering a sense of community, social responsibility and building bridges with those a world away from our affluent society. A titanic task for the B&N event team: besides the Care Day we took care of the journey, hotel, conference and elaborate evening programmes. And we enjoyed every minute.

Our kick-off on the Cape was the most moving and most demanding meeting that I have ever been part of with a supporting programme in a class of its own. You were the perfect professionals, putting your heart and soul into making our event a huge success.
