For Tomorrow's Champions

IT manufacturer Kyocera showed how customer loyalty and CSR go hand in hand at its distribution meeting in Potsdam. Read on to see how ONE team was formed from 50 competitors.

icon_bn50 players in the competitive printer market formed ONE team by building a football pitch with a playground for socially disadvantaged children. The dedication of participants, both client and agency, was rewarded by children’s bright eyes, open, constructive cooperation and the EIBTM Conference Award. Laying turf to get closer: in the two-day distribution conference under the slogan “digging instead of discussing”, 50 managers constructed a football field and used the collaborative effort with shovel and wheelbarrow as a platform for informal networking. Instead of regarding themselves as competitors, they gelled. Moderated strategy workshops held the following day ensured that this experience could be transferred to business. Socially responsible relationship management received the EIBTM Conference Award.

An ingenious concept and undoubtedly our best distribution meeting! Thanks to BUSINESS & NATURE who made this possible and tackled the event with full commitment and great professionalism”. Stephen Schienbein
